The cookies used for our European Union based websites are as follows: for first party cookies, "phpsessid" to identify a unique session on the website; for "remember my choice" or language based cookies the user is redirected to the page of their choice or is stated in the user’s preferred language, respectively.
For third party cookies, these are "unam" set by tracking scripts; “utma" and "utmz" which are set by Google Analytics.
The purpose of the “unam” cookie is to allow you to share the content of the page by way of email, Twitter, Facebook, etc. “Unam” only personally identifies you if you have already independently signed up with “ShareThis” and have given your consent.
The purpose of “utma” and “utmz” is to record how many people are using the website and how they move around the site once they've arrived. More specifically, “utma” tracks how many times (if any) you have visited the website before and “utmz” identifies where you've come from e.g. from a search engine or from another website. “Utma” and “utmz” do not store any personal information about you, just information about your computer and your browser.?
